Behind the Book: "Business Ethics in Practice" - An academic book co-edited by our founder

Most people talk about ethics as if it's a value. But in business, it’s also structure, system, and sometimes conflict.

Our founder, Philipa had the chance to co-author the academic book "Business Ethics in Practice: Case Examples from German Organizations"; a book grounded in real stories of how companies navigate ethical dilemmas in leadership, compliance, and organisational life.

No idealism. Just the everyday tensions between policy and people, values and pressure.

It’s academic, yes. But also deeply practical.

And it reflects what I’ve seen again and again:
